The Pollination Project is an important grassroots funder for social movements around the world including farmed animal protection, food systems transformation, and wildlife conservation movements.
Since they started, they have funded over 600 leaders of these movements globally.
These grants are designed to support individuals and groups anywhere in the world who:
- Advocate for the wellbeing of farmed animals and challenge harmful practices in the industrial food system.
- Advance plant-forward food systems, including the development and adoption of alternative proteins.
- Promote compassionate, health-supportive, and environmentally sustainable dietary shifts.
- Protect biodiversity and conserve wildlife through grassroots environmental action.
- Cultivate community-driven food initiatives such as gardens, urban agriculture, and agroecology.
- Foster equitable, localized transitions to food systems that promote holistic human and planetary health, resilience, and food justice.
